Obra comissionada pela Universidade de Coimbra, como oferta e homenagem da UC à Canto-Autora Adriana Calcanhoto.

Criado em parceria com o Laboratório de Fabricação Digital de Coimbra, o FabLab, durante um período de intenso interesse, investigação e experimentação criativa com ferramentas e processos de computação física. Este chapéu investiga uma possível relação entre a linguagem das nuvens e das tempestades com as expressões motoras da cabeça e a sua comunicação dos estados de espírito do dono da cabeça que usa o chapéu. Transformando-se num apêndice visual que cintila, se enche das cores do pôr do sol ou parece trovejar à mercê dos seus movimentos. 

Técnicas e materiais: Lã feltrada e esculpida manualmente, fio de nylon, acelerómetro, Gemma lEDS Neopixel, bateria litiun recarregável.

Work commissioned by the University of Coimbra as a gift and tribute from the UC to singer-songwriter Adriana Calcanhoto.

This piece was created in partnership with the Coimbra Digital Fabrication Laboratory, the FabLab, during intense interest, research and creative experimentation with physical computing tools and processes. This hat investigates a possible relationship between the language of clouds and storms with the motor expressions of the head and its communication of the states of mind of the hat's owner. Transforming itself into a visual appendage that sparkles, fills with the colours of the sunset or seems to thunder at the mercy of your movements.

Materials and techniques: Hand felted and carved wool, nylon thread, accelerometer, Gemma LEDs Neopixel, rechargeable lithium battery.
