Este projeto social pela arte que decorreu entre 2021/2022 na Baixa de Coimbra baseia-se na aplicação das artes e da criatividade como veículos de conexão, autoconsciência e da valorização individual e do grupo.
Trabalhámos os arquétipos femininos e a sua representação através da escultura têxtil e da feltragem num processo que envolve pensamento conceptual, o labor manual e um esforço conjunto na construção das esculturas.
O corpo de trabalho apresentado surgiu de profundos momentos criativos partilhados pelo grupo num processo de transformação pessoal e interpessoal.
Mãos: A Representação dos arquétipos da donzela, curandeira e sacerdotisa, esta peça também aborda os muitos significados das mãos que tanto seguram e asseguram num contexto feminino.

Medusa: A medusa incorpora os arquétipos da feiticeira, mulher selvagem e guerreira enquanto pondera sobre as muitas maldições tradicionalmente percebidas da condição feminina.

Cuecas: São os tufos rebeldes que representam os arquétipos da mãe, da amante, da rainha e da mulher sábia. Por estar na primeira linha do movimento feminista, o pelo púbico suscita inúmeras interpretações e reações dignas de reflexão.

This social project through the arts that took place between 2021/2022 in downtown Coimbra is based on applying skills and creativity towards raising connection, self-awareness and worth individually and in the group.
We worked on feminine archetypes and their representation through textile sculpture and felt-making in a process that engages conceptual thought, manual labour and a joint effort in constructing the sculptures.
The presented body of work emerged from profound creative moments shared by the group in a personal and transpersonal transformative process.
The Hands: Representing the archetypes of maiden, healer and priestess, this piece also dwells on the many significances of hands in a feminine context.

The Medusa: The medusa embodies the archetypes of the enchantress, wild woman and warrioress while pondering on the many traditionally perceived curses of the female condition.

The merkins: These are the rebellious tufts that represent the archetypes of the mother, the lover, the queen and the wise woman. As pubic hair stands on the first line of the feminist movement, it raises countless interpretations and reactions worthy of being pondered upon.
